France as a Tax Haven – Seminar in Tourtour

France as a Tax Haven – Seminar in Tourtour

by | Oct 16, 2008

A successful seminar was held yesterday, hosted by Kentingtons, at the wonderful Bastide de Tourtour. I would like to thank all those who attended and contributed to the discussions making it an exceptional event. Feedback has been very positive indeed, with many commenting on being surprised and amazed at what they had learned.

The seminar proved, with case scenarios, how it is that taxation can be lower in France than the UK for income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. We also showed that even wealth tax is not a problem. With good financial planning it was shown that taxation in France can be drastically lower than the UK.

I would like to thank Philippe Burdeyron and Steve Whyburd from La Mondiale who spoke about their unique investment, and of course Peter Owen fromExpathealth Direct who spoke about the French health system.

Our combined talks showed just how easy it is to live in France and that there need not be any negative consequences in living here.
